Poured from 16oz can into a tulip. Canned 11/12/20.
Appearance: shimmery, very pale silvery-golden hue, with a finger of frothy white foam atop. I think it's quite attractive indeed! Very good for the style.
Smell: wheaty with just a dash of pear quality present. It's just a little bit sweet, with just a tiny hint of sourness -- I think it's very successful.
Taste: light and fruity, with that same pear from the aroma and something else -- I am guessing coriander, based on the style, but it's very subtle. Overall the flavor is balanced, subtle, and gentle -- just as a witbier should be. I dig it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a decent, if imperfect, creaminess.
Overall: I rather like this beer -- it's one of the better American interpretations of witbier that I have encountered.
