16oz can (no date) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a clear dark honey color (not the expected dark ruby of the style, thus dinged) with about a half-inch of white head that moderate retention and no lacing.
The aroma had a semi-sweet grain base, some yeasty spice, and just a hint of a floral aspect.
Similar on the tongue, with the yeast popping out a bit more.
The body was medium-full, smooth, and had a medium finish that dried out after a few moments.
Drinkability was good, and enjoyable quaff.
Overall, a pretty nice brew. It would have scored higher if considered a Belgian Strong Pale or something similar. Still, worth trying if you see it.
