Pours a clear and handsome amber with plenty of foam in the Kasteel chalice. Spritzy mouthfeel with a tangy sensation. Resiny and musty aroma. This is different than the typical IPA, but alas I think of my homebrew from years ago-- the hop flavored malt syrup. This has a generic bitterness and a musty flavor. Maybe pear skins and a buttery note. This is probably drinkable but one wonders what was going on here-- better to brew first, celebrate later. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. No apparent date.
