On tap:
Quite nice looking. A classic clear orange body with a wispy white head after it settles. Lacing is spotty but consistent.
Nose is a bit of orange honey blossom. There’s an ever so light bit of a “homebrew grain” note with a deep inhale.
Taste starts with citrus with a drop of honey. A citrus pith bitterness comes from the depths, but is slow to take over the taste. It does end up sharing the palate with the citrus pulp - tangerine like in the end.
In some sips I wonder if there’s a little citrus juice in this. It’s a fairly standard, decent regular IPA expect for that note. The citrus tartness isn’t bad, I’d just rather it wasn’t there.
