I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a nonic glass.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a thin layer of white foam atop.
Smell: kinda grainy, kind of astringent malt character, with a little bit of characteristic yeastiness. Not terrible, but I don't love it.
Taste: like the aroma, there's just something here I don't love — the astringency isn't really there from the aroma, but there's a, I don't know, sticky element to the malt's sweetness that I don't super care for.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: eh, not really my favorite Kölsch in the world.
