From a pint can, which emptied into a clear glass Imperial pint mug, with a gentle pour. There's some foaminess to the off-white head, but it's not excessive. The beer's color is rich dark amber and although it's slightly cloudy, it's somewhat translucent. There's a reasonable starch and hop aspect to the aroma. The starch smells grainy, like whole wheat. The hops are more earthy and resinous. Neither is overly pungent. The taste is good and pleasant, but short of extraordinary. There's enough malty sweetness to carry the resinous hops, even when they turn dryly piney at the finish. There's plenty of earthiness provided from both sides. But, the body, just as the glass lacing, is hard to find. The 7% ABV is nicely included within the taste. This one is almost very good, although drinkers that prefer a lighter body, some, but not an abundance of earthiness and some sharply dry hops at the finish, should rate it higher.

Drink by, no date was found, poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass
Appearance - Dark golden yellow almost amber, head was full but not tight and left a light lacing.
Smell - Slight pine but maybe more floral.
Taste - Slight bitterness but smooth with no real citrus flavor or over taking flavors, possibly the malt is hiding some of the bitterness with almost a fruit sweetness.
Carbonation is medium.
Feel - Medium to full
Overall - A good tasting IPA but with no dominating bitterness. This is a good IPA and I would recommend it for those looking for a good tasting more full but less bitter IPA. I am no expert but I want to say this could be considered an ESB over an American IPA. I bought this in a mixed 4 pack (cans) and would buy it again.

Great Barn Brewery "Where The Delaware Am I ?"
16 fl. oz can without production codes or best by dating
$3.29 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: The brewery is in Kintnersville, PA near the Delaware river which explains the name. It's poured a hazy copper colored body beneath a good sized head of rocky off-white foam. The head retention appears to be good, and I can see some nice lacing where it's already dropped. The aroma is grainy, caramelish, fruity, and a bit like piles of dried leaves. It's clearly done in the English style and thus the aroma level of the hops is appropriate (I'd expect more from an American IPA). The first thing you get in the flavor is the grainy, biscuity, and caramelish malt. It's clearly pale ale malt with a strong helping of medium to medium-dark caramel malt added in. The apple-like fruitiness from the yeast is nice, and there's a bit of spiciness and pine to it as well which I imagine is coming from the hops. I'm also finding some orange and that must be from the hops as well, so maybe I'm a little bit off on the whole English style thing, but it's certainly more English than American. It's nicely balanced all around, and it finishes mostly dry with some earthiness, pine, spiciness, and leafy or woody notes lingering shortly. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp with a standard carbonation level. Overall I'm quite happy with this. It's basic but at the same time the hops they've chosen give it a little bit of a different twist. And the quality is there as well. Nicely done.

6/16/20...pours rusty cloudy copper with light foam layer on top, barely see through from above. Robust, juicy, citrus nose. Slight pine hint amongst the citrus base. Bright flavorful open that spills into a juicy malt. Slight rind finish accents the bitter. Smooth and clean. Real good.

Note: I don’t like heavy, hoppy IPAs, i prefer more flavorful drinkable IPAs.
So, i found this beer very delightful. Real nice feel, texture, and taste. I got some citrus and some rye/wheat. Bought a 4-pk because I loved the name and the can art.... But, was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Will drink again. Look forward to visiting their taproom in New Hope.

The key word here is light - the color, the nose and the flavor are all very light. Not light in the session IPA sense but rather in the sense that I'd peg this as a mild pale ale at best.

Malty and sweeter tasting IPA. Not bad hops bitterness but almost overpowered by maltiness - not much floral "after" hop. Decent head and lacing on glass. Good tasting beer - enjoyable.
