Poured to a Brooklyn Brewery tumbler glass.
This beer was made in January'17, drinking it on the 4th of February.
A: The body is yellow and hazy, just some minor carbonation on the visible end of the beer. The head is white, shows great lacing and good retention.
S: The aroma is interesting as it differs a bit from the regular hefeweizen by having no banana hint at all but lots of clove instead. There's just a minor yeasty tone but, overall, it's good.
T: Taste starts off by having a small sweetening agent from the under ripe banana that is not present in the aroma and finishes off the first part with a big prominent flavour of clove. Midway, a minor yeasty tone appears, shedding off some light the crisp end of the beer that's very light and sweet.
M: Body is medium to low. Carbonation is good. No alcohol is felt. Bitterness is very low. Sweetness is mild.
O: It's an interesting hefeweizen, could have just some more banana aromas.

Served from a bottle in Tavira. This is a nice beer but it's not really like a German Hefeweizen. The body is a little thin (low quantity of wheat malt?) and there is a hint of a hop that is inappropriate for the style, slightly bitter. This negates what little body and mouthfeel the beer has.
