Similarly to the summer ale, as much as I love this brewery, the vibe, the service, and the clientele … all first class … the recipes need a little more work. This one also had a pleasing appearance … clean amber, head/retention, and mouthfeel, but an off flavor that seemed a little bit unintentional as well. Totally drinkable again, just something slightly off.

16 ounce draft pours into tumbler style pint glasses.
Dark amber with a reddish hue and no head, the lack of foam seems to be more the fault of the server than the brewer as I was able to swirl the glass to produce some, nor is it flat. The nose is sweet and malty but but weak. Good flavor, malty, caramel and light roast with woody hops and a mild bitter finish. Light-medium body and medium carbonation. Decent amber, goes well with dinner.
