Poured from the can into a tulip globe glass. Aug 27 2021? From the can date.
Creamy light khaki three finger head, with a good deep amber reddish orange body. Solid retention and decent clarity.
Aroma lacks a bit in the hop department, and falls to old school Ipa character. Minor hints of pine and mostly ashy smelling.
Palate lacks much of what the beer claims. Mild sensing malt character of caramel through a decent mouthfeel. Ash like mid palate of earth and moderate hop bitterness. Finish gives a touch more malt character, biscuits with indistinct hop presence.
Pulled out of the cold case too, this is hardly a tropical citrus fronted IPA. Drinkable, but comes across like and old school malt forward IPA without the cheater hops.

Its not called EYE PA. It's called "Mad Scientist IPA" Not written the way its entered above. Lacks the strength of a strong beer, not a great head, and short on interesting taste. That said id' take them out on a hot summers day for drinks over many others. Still la good beer.
