Poured from the 70cL bottle into a mug in Kigali, Rwanda. The beer is a pure gold with streams of carbonation leading up to a fizzy white head with short retention. A classic looking beer.
Smell: grain and crackers with a slightly vegetal whiff.
Taste: Crisp up front but then leading to a kind of vegetal taste followed with hay and grain. Finishes with a slightly lemony and soapy bitterness. A typical pale lager really.
Overall: This is probably the most prevalent beer in Rwanda. At around a dollar per liter in some places you have to expect a certain level of product. Still it's mostly inoffensive and drinkable. When in Rwanda...
