Pale ale brewed with wheat, oats and flaked barley in the grist to smooth out the body. Whirlpooled and dry hopped with Australian Cascade and Citra. Its restrained bitterness and dry finish help maintain Pintle's all day crushability.

Copenhagen 20/1 2021. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Pretty cool can with a landscape in different shades of green with an old mill in the center without colors.
Pours unclear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet malty odor mingling with sweet exotic fruit. Stronger citric notes. Honey melon and peach. Grape fruit and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. slightly thick, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong, slightly harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry.
Quite powerful and intense APA from the bitter side of the street. And bone-dry.

440 ml can, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.3%. BB date 05. Sept. 2021. (Bought in August.) Slightly hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of citric hops. The flavour has also notes of citric / grapefruity hops, not very sweet, moderately bitter finish. Okay, but a bit one-dimensional.

CAN
Hazy sunshine; herb, wood, + lemon; speck of wheat thin, big orange, grapefruit and pine; clean bitter finish.
4 x 5
Citra and Cascade both hit with their respective citrus. Punchy for 3.7%. Nice work.

Can poured into schooner glass.
Pours a semi-opaque tangerine colour. Tiny head. Faint aroma of malt and grass. Mild pineapple and citrus on the palate. Rather thin body. Not a terrible beer but very average by Burnt Mill’s standards. Normally love their stuff but wouldn’t rush back to this one.

Pours a hazy orange with thick, soft foam.
Smell is citrusy with some pine and a hint of elderflower.
Taste is bright and crisp with a bit of breadiness at the base. Floral hops and a mild bitterness keeps it fresh and balanced.
Mouthfeel is thin, well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific low ABV pale ale.
