Copenhagen 7/1 2021. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Sunset in yellow, orange and red on the can.
Pours opaque, hazy, slightly dirty golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light sweet fruity odor supplemented by stronger citric fumes. Mango and pineapple. Citrus and grape fruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is bitter and dry with a strange earthy tang.
Refreshing and fairly intense for the style.
