Copenhagen 8/1 2022. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. A very starry sky on the can.
Pours slightly unclear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with hoppy, citric notes. Sweet pale malts, bread and straws. Lemon, grass and hints of black pepper.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Well balanced Pale Lager which actually smell and taste of something.
