With an ambush of dry hops, this crisp, refreshing, summertime beer goes down smooth with a soft, rounded-out blend of hops backed with a slight caramel sweetness. What sets this beer apart from other pale ales is the highly aggressive dry-hopping method using all four hops, which gives the beer an exploding bouquet of fresh hop aroma and flavor without all the bitterness.

Lasting head which leaves extensive rings and streaks on the glass. Golden color with a mild haze.
Semisweet nose with a white pepper bitter hop aroma.
Well balanced with a typical semisweet pale malt start and the bitter hop finish. Moderate body and carbonation. Strong bitter aftertaste but not close to extreme. Overall, a classic example of an APA.

12 oz can. Pours orange with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, tropical fruit and bready malt. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of good amount of citrusy hops, ripe fruit and bready malt. Finish is long and hoppy. Very good brew.

I believe I got a bottle of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from Oswego. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that left some lace. The scent had tart citrus fruit flare. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Pine and citrus hop notes, with a touch of caramel behind it. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a full white head. Medium bodied, with a mild sweetness fading to some mild bitterness.

Served cold on draft at a pub in Arlington, VA. Slightly hazy golden color. Nose is floral and piney without the trendy stink of grapefruit. Taste is excellent with good mouthfeel and lingering malt sweetness. Bitterness is moderate. Solid west coast style pale ale, a nice find from a small east coast brewery. Folks who aren’t fans of hop bombs don’t fear the hype, it’s perfectly, not excessively hopped. Great luncheon beer.

Pours a golden color with a small head. The smell is subtle, with notes of both malts and hops. Taste is pretty basic with some hops and nothing much in regards to citrus.

Pours a lightly hazy golden to golden orange with a 2 finger off white head.
Herbal/floral hops with hints of caramel and pine and a little earthiness.
Similar to the aroma with less caramel and a bit more earthiness. Nicely sweet.
Medium body, crispness on the light side and astringent and drying in the end.
A good beer. Fairly easy to drink with only light to medium bitterness.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellowish amber in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head that faded away, leaving a delicate web of lacing on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of floral and earthy hops are present in the nose along with hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste has flavors of floral and citrusy hops along with a bit of earthiness and hints of caramel malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and very crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a well-hopped APA that packs in a lot of aromas and crispness from the hops but is refreshingly light in body and not that bitter.
