i give points here not because i like it, but because i have no choice but to respect its uniqueness. this is basically a bloody mary beer fusion, with a weird strong brown ale as a base. lots of cracked pepper and horseradish in here, and it is in fact hot in the finish. the malts dont do enough to balance out this spice intensity, so the beer is tough to drink and comes across a little gimmicky. one thing i will say on its behalf is that it may well be a fantastic cooking beer, or one to scare the hangover out of you, but i see this in a pot of chili doing quite well. its spicy and salty too, even boozy enough to mimic the cocktail. i dig the concept i suppose, but as a beer to drink, its entirely absurd.

Everything you want in a multi-dimensional beer. You get the tomato, salt, and pinch of heat from the horseradish. Delicious
