One active brew... rapid bubbles throughout consuming. Terrific lacing.
Dry, biscuity malts, great spicing, with slight grapefruit flavors, Bit of a bitter sour finish.
Smooth, dry pils. Good.

I would have rated this higher, and was prepared to do so until I saw that it was officially listed as a Czech pils. Whole time drinking it I was convinced by the subtle sweetness, smooth noble hops as opposed to a biting bitterness and floral malt backbone that it was a German pils. Maybe it was entered with the wrong style? If it were a German style instead, I'd easily give it a 4, but it missed as a Czech.

Appearance: pours a darker straw yellow color. a finger of so of a white head with decent retention and leaves little to no lacing behind. Strong clarity to it.
Smell: pilsner malt sweetness, grassy to musty, slight noble hop
Taste: opens up with a hint of pilsner malt sweetness, sweetness is quickly lots by a bit too much of a subtle hoppiness. backend is grassy and a little musty
Mouthfeel: light and drinkable. not quite as clean as a light lager should be.
Overall: Not a terrible beer, but a bit off on much of the pilsner traits. perhaps over hopping takes away the cleanness and sweetness of the malt base.
