Poured from a bomber into a tulip glass. Pours a clear amber with a thick, white head that takes a while to dissipate. Smells of earth, cinnamon, and malt. Tastes, well there is the advertised earthy bite and does take on the spice profile of pumpkin pie. Cinnamon and nutmeg are pretty up front there. Not really bitter, less of a bite and more of a nibble. Medium body, almost creamy. Overall, it's an interesting take on a pumpkin beer, not quite as much pumpkin flavor as I'd like. Certainly gets better as it warms up.
