Forget everything you know about IPA’s! This unique and brand new style of IPAs has a super low bitterness, allowing the fresh fruity flavor and aroma of hops to completely dominate. This beer is unfiltered and unclarified, leaving the yeast to add to the smooth mouthfeel. The Galaxy, Mosaic and Idaho 7 hops make this beer super “juicy” and fruity with a strong, citrus bouquet aroma.

Appearance: Poured one month prior to the "enjoy by" date from a 12-ounce can with a patriotic peel-and-stick label depicting Uncle Sam but with the head of a bald eagle. Deep amber color with lots of little rising bubbles that initially give the false appearance of haze. Bright, off-white foamy head; about an inch and very slow to recede. Good lacing. 5.0
Aroma: A little muted. Light notes of pine and resin. Floral hops. Some malt sweetness. Caramel.
Taste: Balanced amounts of pine and floral hops. Prevalent malt profile. Tangerine and dried apricots. Some earthy flavors. Low bitterness.
Feel: Adequate carbonation. Not too thick. A little sticky.
Overall: It's not a bad beer, it's just miscategorized. The malty sweetness is way too high and the bitterness to low for an IPA.

From a can into a beer glass.
A golden pour with decent clarity, a little random lacing.
Sweet malt, tropical fruit, citrus, esp grapefruit and pine dominate. Bitterness a little less dominant than the sweetness.
Overall a very good AIPA

This was yet another beer given to me late last year that I took a while to get around to. While certainly not a New England IPA, this was plenty enjoyable and with a hidden alcoholic presence that allowed the flavors to shine through nicely - even if none in particular was overpowering.
Not a bad pour to this as this had a subdued copper hue to it with plenty of solid foam topping the liquid off. Lots of leather, caramel, deep citrus, and candied sugar in the mellow aroma as much of the former notes were present in the taste as well. Dank pineapple, fruit cocktail, and turbid hops came in on the palate as third felt more left coast than anything else. A full body, persistent stickiness, and light carbonation only reinforced that feeling with the end result being a sipping IPA that ever so slightly warmed me up at the same time.
Missed out on the best of this, since this was to be enjoyed by 12/29 of last year. Regardless, there was very little sediment in this as it held up well in my basement. Enough to enjoy here - this just needs to be categorized correctly!

12 oz can from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a clear amber with a small head and lacing. This is an excellent IPA that can appeal to a broad group of beer/ale drinkers. The aroma is light with floral notes and pineapple. The flavors are more tropical fruit and pineapple. Very balanced IPA for enjoying anytime. The ale has a medium body and average carbonation. This is my go-to IPA!

12oz can from Kroger. Clear amber pour, patchy head, small collar, lacing. Sweet malty aroma, caramel. Taste is caramel, malty, sweet, with a dry hoppy bite.

Dark orange colour with reddish notes. Foamy off-white head. Pine notes. Balancing bready malt. Taste is pine also with toast and a dark sweetness. Full mouth feel. Smooth. Overall, not bad. Average IPA but with a balanced character. Maybe wrongly categorized.

Picked up a mixed case of Three Notch'd from Costco of all places. I've had Minute Man a few times before but my first chance to provide a BA review. Very pillowy off-white head when poured into my pint glass. Almost a burnt orange, nearly transparent look to it. Smell is heavy citrus with lots of orange maybe some pineapple. Taste is good - but almost too citrusy. Would like to have some more malt balance to this one. Mouthfeel is good but there's an almost medicinal quality (childhood memories of St. Joseph's aspirin?) that causes me to rank this as a middle-of-the-road IPA. Also, wouldnt exactly call this a NEIPA (like others have mentioned)
