Served on-tap in a nonic at the brewery in Charlottesville, VA.
A: Golden amber with ample 1-finger foamy head with decent retention and a scrappy bit of lacing collaring the top of the glass.
S: Light aroma overall with some tropical and citrus fruity hops and lighter caramel malt character.
T: The flavor falls a bit flat with very light citrus fruit hops, mainly orange and red grapefruit, blended with lighter caramel and 2-row American pale malt. Comes off almost like a strong blonde ale. Minimal bitterness.
M: Flabby feel with no crispness which makes me wonder if the pH of this beer is off somehow or if that's just a product of the very low bitterness for the style. Medium body at most with moderate carbonation.
O: TN probably should have gone with 20 or 25 Mile rather than 10.
