L: Had this beer on-tap at Three Notch'd, poured into a pint glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Decent lacing.
S: A decent, but not outstanding, aroma of roasted malt, hops, a creamy quality, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of a small amount of hops (mostly evident in the finish), a lot of roasted malt (present throughout), the aforementioned creaminess, a bit of chocolate, and light coffee notes. A fair flavor that's not bad, but could benefit from a little goosing; the chocolate needs to be more present. Fairly tasty, though.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an uneven beer, but it has its good spots. Drinkable enough.
