L: Had this on-tap at Three Notch'd - Richmond, poured into a pint glass. Had a jet black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a thin, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Good lacing.
S: An enticing aroma of chocolate, malt, cinnamon, and chili peppers.
T: Tasted of a good amount of chili peppers (anchos - not overdone), lots of spices (cinnamon, in particular), a good shot of chocolate, and light malt notes (present throughout). An exceptionally enjoyable kind of flavor. It has a hot chocolate-y kind of quality to it, with the chili peppers giving it a nice flair. Quite tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a warm, spicy finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: An incredibly likable beer. Drinkable.
