Poured moderately hard from a can into a snifter glass, barely creating a finger of dark tan head. Completely black, opaque color. Smells of dark fruit, like most Russian imperial stouts. Taste is similar, fairly bitter dark fruit with a bit of chocolate flavor. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth, can't really tell it's 9.4% ABV. Solid Russian imperial stout, but a bit too bitter for me personally.
