Our classic American pale ale is brewed with an ambush of dry hops, giving this crisp, refreshing beer all the hop flavor without being overly bitter.

I think this is an excellent, pleasantly hoppy pale ale. Had it from a can poured into a tall snifter at my hotel bar in Arlington, VA. Bright golden yellow color with huge fluffy white head and great curtain lacing. Very strong pine smell and taste with lots of hoppy flavor. Pleasantly dry with notes of toasted biscuits. Some subtle fruit flavors, peach and orange. A beer I would get again.

12 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
Canned 7/22/21
This is a lively beer with a big three finger cap of off-white rocky foam smothering a medium amber and slightly hazy pour. The head lessens but is very persistent leaving clumps of lacing on the glass. The nose is bright and hoppy opening with big citrus and a less pronounced biscuit malt aroma. After the head settles a bit the citrus becomes a more distinguishable lemon aroma with a bit of soapy character. Tasting much as it smells, lemon up front with an underlying biscuit malt flavor, it has a little of the mylar bag flavor showing before a clean bitter finish. Sweetness is low and the bitterness starts out in the moderate range but builds becoming more aggressive as the pint empties. The medium-light body has a dry-ish feel, is moderately crisp and somewhat chewy. Although the lemony bitterness builds to higher than I would prefer, this is a pretty good APA.
