The day on bottom of the can looks a little smudged but it appears to read: "CANNED 08/4/21 ENJOY 11/4/21"
Appearance: The body is a bit cloudy but it has enough transparency to allow fairly defined shadows to be visible through it. There are a ton of suspended solids in the glass which vary in size from small grains of sand to pinpricks. The body is a medium shade of orange-gold in the middle and it turns to a lighter shade of gold near the edges. It has a fluffy and creamy textured white head with nice wisps of lacing. Good head retention.
Aroma: There is a light bit of candied orange peel and a light hint of caramel. The aromas are present but subdued.
Taste: Up front there is this mixture of grassy character and orange gummy candy. The middle of the mouth emphasizes a bit of malt character with a light bit of caramel sweetness that tapers to a mild bitterness as it approaches the rear of the palate. The flavors are very muted.
Mouthfeel: It has a medium body with a fairly smooth presence on the tongue. It has this strange grassy bitterness like chewing on a piece of hay.
Overall: As a whole the beer feels just like most of the other average attempts at a New England IPA. It has just enough flavor and aroma to be drinkable but it misses the mark for the style and other comparable beers in the local and wider market. I wouldn't pick it up again if I were looking for a NEIPA and I wouldn't recommend it to somebody looking for one, but if somebody gave me one for free at a gathering I could drink it.

From the can, it pours a hazy amber color with a lovely white head that lasts a while. The nose gets enchanted by the pineapple, lemon and orange scents. The mouth enjoys the low bitterness of the brew with highlights of citrus, which leaves a tingling on your tongue.

Sweet and juicy with low bitterness. The tropical fruit and citrus notes are almost candy-like. Can says 10 IBU's, that's crazy for a DIPA! It's working for me, but just a bit more bite would be welcome. Thoroughly enjoying this.
