The Beer Advocate American Blonde Ale style description sums this beer up: "no particularly dominating malt or hop characteristics". It would be hard to accurately describe the aroma and flavor characteristics of this beer. It is a bit malty and sweet, some nondescript fruitiness and little bitterness. Pleasant enough but, that's about it. It looks good though: big frothy white head with good retention and lacing and a nice, mostly clear golden color. Mouthfeel is smooth with little bitterness and no harsh alcohol aspects. Goes down real smooth. Good with food, tasty enough to drink a few, but nothing memorable.

A- pours a clear golden color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a film on top
S- light fruity hop aroma up front with notes of citrus zest and berries. Spent grain, doughy bread, honey
T- slightly sweet and malty up front with cereal grains and some bready notes. Mid-palate stays malty, before giving way to a hint of floral hops on the finish. Roasted malty linger
