A collaboration with New Belgium Brewery, this is a good one!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a clear, light copper color and a big foamy white head. Head retention was better than average and there were foamy bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste featured fruit above anything else. At first, I thought it was mostly tropical fruit but as I drank it, I realized it was the apricot as stated on the can. The fruitiness was aromatic and very tasty!!! The bitterness level was moderate but served as a nice balance to the slightly sweet fruit flavor. Mouthfeel was crisp and fairly robust. The level of bitterness was just right to go along with the fruit. A good IPA!!!
