From the bottom of the can: "ENJOY BY 10/16/24"

Appearance: The beer is pretty foamy. It sprays a bit of foam when opening the can and it has a very large off-white head that has a bit of a tobacco stained yellow color. The body is slightly hazy and it has a medium gold color.

Aroma: There is a light bit of grapefruit scent. It has a bit of a floral note with hints of mint and a light fresh grain husk aroma. The scent is mellow but good.

Taste: It opens with some mint flavor and a bit of pine then it picks up some lime towards the center of the palate. There is a fresh grain flavor on the middle of the palate. It finishes with a strong pine flavor which tastes crisp and sharp with notes of pine resin.

Mouthfeel: It is medium-light bodied with a smooth texture and a crisp bitter bite at the end. It drinks very well and it has a strong bitterness that is rewarding.

Overall: It is a very flavorful beer that delivers a nice bitter bite at the end. The text on the can states: "CREATED WITH OUR FRIENDS AT DESCHUTES BREWERY. THIS WEST COAST IPA CAPTURES THE ESSENCE OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. WITH WEST COAST HOPS' SUBTLE PINE FLAVORS AND REFRESHING CITRUS NOTES COMBINE FOR A TRUE CELEBRATION OF COASTAL CRAFT!"

This is a pretty accurate description. It has as pleasant pine and lime flavor with some notes of grapefruit aroma. There is a bit of fresh grain flavor and aroma which is pleasant as well. As a whole I really enjoyed it and I would recommend it and buy it again.

Can purchased at brewery (best by October):
The pine comes through slightly less than what I got on tap. This might be due to the malt carrying a bit more weight and huskiness versus the “more crisp” feel I originally perceived. The “extra malt” is bringing out a little cantaloupe and mango before the pine takes over.

Original review on tap:
It is very piney, with clear golden body and sticky head. Nose is lighter in pine, overall approachable version of old school WCIPA.

From the pint can, it pours a clear golden color with a very nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets PINE! The mouth gets Pine and some bitterness. The bitterness lingers in the mouth as well.
