Dreamsicle IPA

Based on the Dreamsicle name, I thought this beer would be some sweet, lactose fueled Milkshake IPA abomination. Turned out to be a mild, subtle tasting Hazy IPA. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a hazy apple cider color and a big thick foamy white head. Thick, wide bands of foamy lacing covered the glass. Aroma and taste include some maltiness, and a touch of orange and vanilla. Very subtle flavoring. Mouthfeel was moderately rich and smooth with mild bitterness. Went down easy. Not exactly memorable, but pleasant enough.

From the pint can, it pours a hazy amber color with a very nice thick, tall head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets orange, lots of it and a bit of vanilla. The mouth follows with a pleasant orangey brew that goes down easy ....
