16 ounce can, canned on 11/10/21, thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a chalice, the beer pours a dark reddish/brown color with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark fruit, peppery spice, clove, caramel and dark bread. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some caramel and a bit of nuttiness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, certainly worth trying if you get the chance!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This decent little dubbel pours a
dark and lightly muddy brown with a decent head of off white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin faint layer, and shows light lacing. Nose of
dark breaded malts, biscuit, dark brown sugars, and subtle Belgian
spice hints of coriander and faint clove. Flavors exceed the nose with
dark bread, raisin, caramel, brown sugar, subtle herbal spice notes,
light biscuit, and subtle clove from the yeast. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, medium light carbonation that is lightly prickly, and a medium
dry finish.
With warmth some cherry and light white pepper hints come through.
Overall, a solid little brew
Cheers
