Served on tap at the brewery in a 10-oz goblet.
Look: Black, with a 1” head with outstanding retention; immense tiny-bubbled lacing.
Nose: Not a lot, medium roast, a little bread.
Mouthfeel: Very thin — almost watery; sufficient carbonation though.
Attack: Quite thin, as watery as the mouthfeel. Very little here.
Finish: This is where most of the flavor in this brew comes through — in the dark roast finish.
Overall: The look was very enticing — Grainworks has that part of this down! They still have quite a lot of work to do on the mouthfeel and attack here, though.
