A: Pours a clear yellow/orange color. A two finger white head forms and recedes after a minute. Plenty of lace is left behind.
S: A touch fruity, orange, grapefruit, pale malts. Lingering bitterness after a bit. Simple but still really enjoyable in the nose.
T: Like the nose, the is pretty simple. With a touch fruity, orange rind, and grapefruit bitterness. The bitterness becomes a bit much in the finish.
M/O: A medium to full body. Crisp and clean carbonation. Smooth at the same time, which finishes very dry. A good IPA, but the bitterness does become a bit much for me after a while.
Lingering bitterness is the biggest downfall for me here, just a touch over done on that IMO. Still something I really enjoyed, and a very good old school west coast IPA.
