A: Pours a clear pale orange color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and lace all the way down the glass.
S: Pretty much all hops up front. Citrus and orange peal. A little bit of a wood aroma, earthy and dank. If there is any malt presence, it is very neutral.
T: Like the nose, citrus, orange peal, and grapefruit. I do get a lingering woody and earthy/dank flavor again. Lingering bitterness. Would really like a touch more malt to come through, but as is very enjoyable.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. Finishes very dry as well. Something very easy and enjoyable to drink. I will be looking for this more when at the brewery.
Pretty much an IPA. I do enjoy it, and it is well made but if some cracker like or other pale malts show up for balance this would be excellent. As is, if you don't over think this will be a good staple. I think this is their first beer they have sent for label approval, so it will also be a good local to look for around Rice Village.
