A: Pours a golden/orange color with a chilled haze. That clears up after this warms. A one finger white head forms with good retention and some lace left behind.
S: Tropical fruits, melons up front. The becomes more dank with some citrus as this warms. A simple hop character, but very enjoyable.
T: Like the nose, this is pretty simple. That tropical fruit, almost melon like flavor up front. Plenty of citrus, even pine and lingering bitterness.
M/O: A medium to full body. Good carbonation that is smooth and dry at the same time. Easy to drink, especially for the style and alcohol. I can come back to this a few times while at the brewery.
Overall, simple and well made with plenty of hop character. This is a much better and more refined version of El Kapitan. Well done, and something I will be looking for when at the brewery.
