Not to be confused with their regular Strongly Related, which was just a West Coast Style IPA that used a naming pun. This version actually has the OG Kush CBD terpenes, or whatever they are.
A: Pours with a haze, a copper/orange color. A white head forms with good retention and lace left behind.
S: Oh jeez, this has a chemical oily/earthy aroma that is potent and not enjoyable. There is some piney, grapefruit hops here. Though overall not enjoyable.
T: Follows the nose, in the over the top chemically and oily flavor, that comes across very artificial to me. Pine, grapefruit bitterness does its best to help, but not happening.
M/O: A thick sticky, oily body. With moderate carbonation. Not enjoyable to drink, not something I'm coming back to.
I hope they make the regular Strongly Related again, as that was just a solid West Coast IPA. Stop doing these stupid CBD or whatever nonsense. Sorry, not good. I get they are "related" yeah of course. But that doesn't mean they go well together...unless you just have to have your CBD terpenes in some way, avoid.
