16 ounce crowler into pint glass, canned on 2/24/2019. Pours moderately hazy golden/orange/amber color with a small fairly dense off white head with poor retention, that reduces to nothing eventually. No glass lacing, some clinging bubbles, and streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of lightly tart/tangy oranges/juice, lemon, lime, citrus peel, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, honey, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with light notes of banana, clove, peppercorn, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/light spicy yeast, orange/peel, honey, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy oranges/juice, lemon, lime, citrus peel, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, honey, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with light notes of banana, clove, peppercorn, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, floral, woody, grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and wheat/fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy oranges/juice, lemon, lime, citrus peel, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, honey, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light banana/clove, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light spicy yeast, orange/peel, honey, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness, and fruit tang/tartness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness and fruit tang/tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly crisp/sticky/acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is a very nice fruited American pale wheat ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light spicy yeast, orange/peel, honey, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink, with the mellowly bitter/spicy/tart/tangy/drying finish. Not overwhelming on any aspect. Great balance of pale/wheat malts, orange peel, honey, and fruity yeast complexity; with solid earthy hop presence against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.
