I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a five sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had grain, yeast and bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and bitter hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Delicious with currant. A nice, rich, underlying fruity flavor with or without currant

Go big or go home on the brewers version of the golden ale. Most definitely a more flavorful golden ale that I've had I a long time!!! Plus the fact that almost all of the ingredients they use are local, is an indication to me that they want well crafted local, delicious beer
