I get down to the Jacksonville area about 7 to 10 times per year for work (and fun) . I enjoy the area and have been happy to see the craft beer culture take root.
One of my customers told me about Atlantic Beach Brewery and said I should check it out. I’m glad I did!
The location is in a strip mall, however they have done a great job with the space. It is “L” shaped with the long bar in the front room and a large party space in the back area. They brewing equipment is on display and they have some garage style doors that they can open up in the back room.
The interior design is best described as modern beach. There is a surfboard and beach type stuff but it is not overdone.
The bartender was fantastic. He was great helping steer people to various beers, was friendly and free with samples.
They had a nice selection of house beers. They had US staples and some Belgian inspired & other continental style beers. Beers ranges from very good to great. I didn’t have anything less that tasty.
I’m not sure about food as we already had dinner plans.
I will have no problem returning for another visit. This is a great addition to the Beaches!
