A- Deep tar-like brown. Looks like a very thick beer, with only a slight crown of blonde bubbles.
S- Deep smokiness overwhelms the smell. Strong notes of bacon, and a hint of vanilla from the aging in whiskey casks.
T- Deep woody smokiness hits you from the moment the beer crosses your lips. Some chocolate, caramel and vanilla notes emerge as well. Very good balance between the sweetness and the bitterness on the back end. Alcohol taste is hardly distinguishable for such high ABV.
M- Smooth, velvety mouthfeel, with good carbonation - though could use a little more.
O- An unusual, smokey imperial stout. Outstanding beer.
