May be an older bottle, will have to look up the batch number specified on the bottle.
Poured slightly cooler than room temperature because I have no patience.
Massively carbonated, but did not gush. Took a few pours to get it in the glass, and left a half inch of beer in the bottle due to yeast being roused up. Waiting for the foam to die down resulted in a glass of perfect low-carbonation English Ale.
Has a nice deep amber honey color and is very bright and clear. Sticky lacing on glass.
Smells like toffee, apples, and has a nice nuttiness. Basically smells like a delicious caramel apple topped with nuts.
Taste is similar to nose, but with a little less fruitiness and more malt complexity that lingers. Moderate caramel toffee sweetness offset by a firm bitterness and herbal, spicy hop flavor. Great balance.
Once the carbonation gets out of there this beer has a great consistency and creamy mouthfeel. The water profile they targeted seems to have worked in my opinion. This beer is a nice surprise find. Drink it warmer than normal and really be patient and get all that carbonation out of there before you drink.

Pours, well initially it pours with about a half inch of light brown beer with about six to seven inches of tan sudsy foam. Foam collapses steadily, but due to the sheer size, it takes quite a while. Beer itself is a mostly clear orange tinged brown color. Lots of tan sticky lacing is left on the glass.
Aroma has notes of woody earthy hops, bitter dried hop leaves, some sugary malt notes, and acorns.
Taste has notes of earthy hops, bland white ready malts and bitter earthy hop notes lingering into the finish. Some metallic notes come through on the beer. Kind of watery overall on the profile.
Feel is super fizzy, kind of rough around the edges. Pretty drying finish.
Overall this is a pretty mediocre beer, the feel is pretty unpleasant, the flavors are mediocre and the appearance was just a massive head. Wouldn't bother picking this one up.

This is an English bitter, it was wrongly named a pilsner for a bit. It would be an off tasting pilsner but it is a solid esb. Malty with Carmel tones. Will be revisiting this one.

Pours a clear brown color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hops oxidation, adjunct, and hint of wheat. Barely fits the description of the style, but not a good example. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is a strong metallic note as well. Tastes of sweet malt, hops oxidation, adjunct, and hint of wheat. The metallic notes dominate aroma and body to the extreme detriment of the beer.
