DATE: July 3, 2021... OCCASION: Day One at the lake house...easy drinking needed... GLASSWARE: pilsner... pours a pure golden body with subtle, large bubbles... its head is frothy but fleeting, though its lacing is attractively coral... its main aromatic element is fresh bread and sweet hay... clean and dry, both in its scent and in its mouthfeel... perfect for a night of carousing with friends... medium-bodied and welcoming... hay, malty bread, sweet vegetable, a bit of nuttiness, and sandalwood... this is a perfect match for what is going on right now--smooth, simple, and a bit more lagerish than expected...
