All aboard the Friendly Service Alt. Named after the railroad line that connected the Great Lakes and the Poconos, our friends at Great Lakes Brewing Company stopped by to brew this German Ale/Lager Hybrid. This amber colored beer is sweet and smoky but clean and crisp at the same time.

From an undated 16oz can purchased at Wallenpaupack in August 2019. Pours a dark reddish-brown with no haze and a modest head. Roasted malt and slightly-spicey smoke on the nose and palate with a touch of sweetness. Great flavor.

Pours a dark brown, with a little head. Malty and vingergry aroma. Flavor a malty but also smokey. Good body and feel. Overall smokey and very good.
