really nice hazy double here, incredible combination of hops, this is exactly what i want in the style, uniqueness from the hops and a soft and drinkable texture where the size of the beer is not really the point. they use belma, lemondrop, and a numbered experimental hop in this, i wish more breweries would get away from the citra mosaic thing, or now sabro cashmere, they are all trending samey, so i appreciate this one a lot, employing some more interesting hops in cool combination. there is a good amount of body to this from oats and some wheat, but its fluffy and dry and well carbonated so it doesnt feel heavy to me, especially compared with many of its peers. the texture is frothy and lively. some oiliness to the hops, a west coast intensity throughout just without the bitterness at the end. hints of summery berries, fresh lemon, and clean herbal freshness, maybe trace vanilla from the hops too, really dynamic and fresh and good. i have not had nearly enough beer from these guys, this seems like an awesome series and i am stoked to have been able to enjoy this one, really a fun recipe, distinct from so many others, cool fruitiness to the hops, no sign of its alcohol strength, im into it!
