Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is pale gold, clear, head is off white with fine bubbles, head dissipates to thin top and ring along the glass sides, some spots.
Smell is clean with light sweet malt, grapenuts, vienna malt sweetness, crisp grassed and lemon hops.
Taste is similar with forward malt flavor that is slightly sweet and reminiscent of grapenuts from the vienna malt bill, definitely a festbier / wiesenbier style flavor as the caramel and toast is missing.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate/low bitterness.
Overall a very good festbier - slightly sweet and light in maltiness with notable hop character.

Appearance – 3.5
First pour – Straw (SRM 3), clear.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), clear. When rear-lite, marked effervescence.
Head – Large (Maximum 4.5 cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density, average retention, diminishing to an undulating 0.8 to 1.1 cm crown fed by moderate carbonation and a rocky cap.
Lacing – Fair. Some torn curtain lacing but not a lot.
Aroma – 3.5 – Mild spicy hops and some malt. No yeast.
Flavor – 3.5 – Starts lightly bitter and spicy/lemony with some malt. No yeast. No ethanol (5.5 % ABV as marked on label) taste or aroma. No gastric warming occurs. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.

Thanks to Ozzylizard for this one, from his hits during NBS BIF #14. 16oz can (dated 9/15/21 [I think, the printing is kinda tight and blurry]) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear, bright coppery-gold color with over an inch of white head that moderate retention and light lacing.
The aroma had the expected soft grains, mild sweetness, and light hops of the style.
Same on the tongue, with the sweetness being a bit stronger.
The body might have been a touch fuller than typical, was smooth, and had a medium finish that dried up after a couple moments.
Drinkability was good, an easy quaffer for sure.
Overall, a nice version of the style. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a nice golden yellow with quickly dissipating white head. Nose is honey, wheat, grass, caramel, citrus (orange), clove, candy, malts, and a bit of tree sap.
Taste: Honey again, along with a good amount of orange and wheat. Sweet. Wheat, hoppy (especially on the back end). A really nice smooth spiciness. I still get clove, but also a bit of rosemary. Floral notes are fairly strong. This is really nice - complex for a 5.5% beer. Really enjoyable.
Overall: Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Refreshing. This is a fantastic pale lager. Very drinkable and enjoyable.
