Clear, brown color with a medium-sized, white head. Toasted malt, dried fruits, and caramel in the aroma. Malty, moderately sweet taste with light herbal bitterness at the end.

The Activator pours a clean, brown liquid with a small head. Malty, salty aroma. The flavor is malty, with notes of dark cereal and a hint of salt. Good feel. Overall, a salty beer that pairs well with a pretzel.

On tap at the Little Brown Barrel in Minersville pa earlier this evening.
Clean dark reddish brown body. Small off white head, no lacing. Sweet malty aroma. On tasting, malty, clean, but overly sweet. Abv quite well hidden, but the sweetness overrides.
Overall, Troeganator has nothing to worry about.

This is a pretty solid domestic Dopplebock.
Very true to style and incredibly drinkable.
Finishes a little on the dry side, which makes it go down easier and the next sip is eager to follow.
Beautiful clear deep bronze with a thin khaki head.
I recommend this one.
Not too shabby for a domestic.

Pours an opaque medium brown with a small head. Light aroma of malt and caramel. The flavor on this is a little restrained compared to other doppelbocks, which often have a strong sweet burnt caramel. There is a good amount of that here but not too overwhelming, balanced out with some maltiness and a just a touch of roastiness to balance. A pretty good version of the style.
