Clear pale golden in the tall IPA glass with plenty of white foam. Aroma is distinct and luxurious. Chestnuts, roast chicken, balsa wood, avocado at first, and then citrus til doomsday. It's quite an oddball on the aromatic side, but totally fascinating. Flavor of lime peel, massive green melon, and a dose of lemon grass.
Overall, a clean and tasty brew on the lighter side, but still plenty hoppy. Somewhat acidic with a moderately bitter aftertaste. Like no other PIlsner you've ever tasted, sue me if I'm wrong. Brewed with a Pilsner malt from Skagit Valley Malting. From the 32 oz growler filled at the Bellingham brewery yesterday.
