Cask. Sparkler used. Dark amber with a tight (creamy) head. Ha ha. Lacing rings.
Smells of sweet caramel. No hops discerned.
Leafy hops appear upon tasting but struggle to provide the necessary balance. Sweet toffee malt to the fore.
Cask carbonation. A nice chewy feel with a medium body.
I can taste why this is a seasonal (Rugby Six Nations) offering.
