500 ml can, from Fakta, Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Clear deep golden colour, large white head. Moderate aroma, hints of toffee and hops. Medium sweet and malty flavour, some toffee and caramel, decent bittering hops in the finish.

A 500ml bottle with a BB of Jan 2015, so it's just out of date. Purchased a while back from a B&M store. A tribute to Leicestershire's local regiment; an IPA hopped with Styrian Dana and Columbus.
A: Poured into a tulip pint glass. A brownish-amber hue with some floating sediment and plentiful carbonation. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer. Slight lacing.
S: Aroma of grainy malt with hints of fruity ale yeast, mild grass/hay, subtle caramel, faint stewed leaves and a touch of cardboard. Balanced but dull.
T: Tastes of grainy malt with a lingering dry finish. Notes of grass/hay, fruity ale yeast, mild caramel, stewed leaves and a hint of cardboard in the background. Slightly sweet, followed by a restrained, leafy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body. Slightly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of acrid stewed leaves, ale yeast and vague grainy malt.
O: Meh - not very satisfying. Average looks, while the aroma and flavour are an uninspired mix of grainy malt, ale yeast and stewed hops. Body is OK. Not much of an IPA; little hop aroma or bitterness. Balanced but boring, there's nothing to hold your attention. No need to hunt it down.

bottled and sadly clear glass
Pours a clear golden body with decent enough white head
Slight malt aroma and flavour
To serve this to the services would be a disservice

Brewed for wetherspoons festival. Half pint at 'spoons in Anniesland. The beer is a light amber colour with a typical 'spoons head and no discernible nose (welcome to Wetherspoons). It has a pleasant sweet, fruity black tea flavour, but is disappointingly lacking in bitterness for an IPA.
