Tasted by a pint last weekend at the Holly Bush, Hampstead, N London.
A: copper-ish hue, a fine, frothy off-white beer head with very good retention; low carbonated body.
S: mild citrus-fruitiness, on top of tea-leaves, resinous hops, and a flow of restrained/subtle caramel maltiness. Light, refreshing, balanced nose.
T: bitter-sweet caramel malts upfront are balanced with leafy and lightly spicy Golding hops... leaving a slightly tannic dryness and mildly bitter finish... simple-structured but nice!
M&D: smooth on the mouthfeel and quite refreshing overall, a medium-bodied bitter; the hops used in this beer are pretty pronounced on the palate, while the malt-hop balance is nicely retained. A easy-drinking session bitter to me.
