A copper colored beer with very little visible carbonation and a small head.
Smell of German maltiness with some maltbitter notes, that are faintly smokey. The hops are earthy.
Taste is light malty with a little husk and some maltbitter that adds some astringency, straw and smoke. The beer has a light sweetness. Body is thin and drinkability is OK.
I have had better Alts, this tastes mostly like a colored pilsner and lacks a lot of character.
