This beer is not retired. It’s brewed locally here in Western PA. Pours a nice 2 finger head with some great lacing down the glass. A ruby red color. Scents of semi-sweet cherries and grassy hops. Taste is pretty smooth with no aftertaste. Could use a little more hop profile. Medium to light body. I read it is 18 IBU, but 25 IBU would be perfect and would give this beer a little better profile. This is a quality beer and quite strong. I’ll grab some more when I see it again.

Koehler beer from Grove City, PA I first tried this at a pumpkin festival tasting event and thought it was very good. It is now available by the case at the beer distributed. Very smooth artisan beverage. Glad they revived it from its demise.

Bingo! Just had this at the McKean Tavern. Brand is an old Erie, Pa brand that went bye bye many years ago. Was recently resurrected and thank God! Outstanding amber ale. Slightly sweet and hoppy at the same time. Excellent drinkability. A must try if you can find it!!!
